Patrick Peterson is now in his 12th NFL season and the 8-time Pro-Bowler has looked better than ever. In week 6 against the high-speed Miami Dolphins, Peterson knocked down one pass intended for Jaylen Waddle, on the next play he did it again, and four series later read quarterback Teddy Bridgewater's eyes and intercepted a pass. The Vikings beat the Dolphins 24-20 to improve to 5-1. As the Vikings transition to a new defensive scheme and play much more zone coverage, Peterson has had to adjust his game & the team has benefited from it. Head coach Kevin O'Connell spoke on Peterson's new role saying "Ultimately what I've challenged Patrick to do is be that guy each and every week for us" and so far he has surely stepped up to the plate.
